I’m stuck, Abulafia help me!
We’ve all been in that place, you’re working along and you need some help with an item description, or the name of a location, or . . . .
You get the picture.
To get that help point your browser at Abulafia (www.random-generator.com) and pick an appropriate generator (there’s a link to all of them on the left hand side).
As the site says:
That means you can use the pages here to get interesting random names, treasure, plots, and anything else you need. If you think the results could use a little more imagination, click the ‘edit’ tab at the top of the page and add a few more choices to the mix (keep with the format you see in the edit box & you’ll be fine). Refresh a page for more results.
I can definitely see a use for this site not just for helping to jump start the creative juices but also for the “spur of the moment,” help all GMs seem to need every so often.
And let’s face it, the following sounds a whole lot better than “a tower.”
PC: “What’s that up there on the edge of the sea cliff?”
NPC: “That’s Anvil Watchtower, it’s where Sir Evangar Odibìnsar defeated the demon Kirkurragchard, Bringer of Ruin”
