  1. I would like to see discussions on tricky rules… like how to handle out of control diplomacy, or interpretations of alignment .

Also, I like links and discussions to software tools. I rely heavily on my laptop for everything in game and I always like to read about what other people are doing.

  2. I too would like discussions on tricky rules. For example, I recently DMed a battle where the final baddie cast darkness on the PCs and fought with Blind-Sight. The situation was complicated because the Druid had a wolf companion with the scent ability. I’ve talked to a few DMs since and asked how they would run it, but discussions like that here would be great!

I’d also like to see more tips for DMs. I essentially taught myself how to play D&D and have since taught all of my players. I haven’t really had the chance to play with other DMs, which is the best way to learn. I’d love to see more of that here.

  3. Tricky rule situations always make for interesting discussions as there is nearly an infinite number of possibilities as to the situations and the possible rulings. I think it would be worthwhile to start an exploration of them but I’ll need a bit of time to come up with the best method of addressing them.

Maybe an ‘Ask the GM lawyer’ series? Give everyone a chance to submit situations or ideas and then have ‘the lawyer’ look at the possible rulings – I need to give it some thought.

I do have an idea or two about software tools – I hope you find at least some of them interesting.

As for GM tips – I think that’s a safe bet and an area I hope that will generate some interesting discussions as well.
