RPG Basilicus Community Launched
I just received the following from Mark Havenner on the FRPGC mailing list.
After careful deliberation on the perfect implementation, I am proud to say that the RPG Basilicus community is launched and I am eager to get the Free RPG community involved in it.
As you may or may not know Basilicus (http://basilicus.wikia.org) is my worldbuilding community and I have been slowly (but surely) adding RPG rules to various articles. As the articles are beginning to mature I am working on ramping up the RPG component to Basilicus. Part of doing this is adding other free licensed game rules to Basilicus articles.
Here’s the best part–> With RPG Basilicus we can now play these games with one another. It is set up as a social networking site. You can create characters by creating profiles and start gaming campaigns by creating communities. Games can be played as play by post with log/comment or forum systems or in chat (this component should be launched shortly). You can create as many character profiles as you want and even start an OOC profile so you can run your own RP blog/community.
Basilicus is also changing its process a bit to make it easier to use and adapt. Instead of various projects it will be all one single project and worlds/places can be added as needed.
My hope is you will bring your games to this community and ultimately to Basilicus itself.

May your dice roll well.
