OCT 2024 RPG Carnival Update

One of the items on my list of things to improve is getting regular updates out about our RPG Blog Carnival. The Carnival has been going on for years at this point and while I’ve been the custodian I know I haven’t done the best job of keeping everyone updated and informed. My plan is, starting this month, to get a posting up in the first week of the month letting everyone know where the Carnival is, where it just was and any other information that might be relevant at the time.

This month the Carnival has traveled to The Other Side for Horror and Fantasy with the focus being on including and improving your horror games and elements in your non-horror genre games.

Hosts needed for the 2025 RPG Carnival!

October is also our traditional month to open signups for our next season. The 2024 season included several new hosts (THANK YOU!) and the overall interest in the Carnival continues to grow. Whether you choose to host or not, you can still participate by sharing your articles, videos, or podcasts. The biggest thing you can do though is to SHARE links and help spread the word.

You can find the signup form on the RPG BLOG CARNIVAL page and the schedule will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Keep in mind that I do create the schedule by hand and check to make sure that those signing up are actually related to the RPG industry – nothing automated or done with AI.

A big thank you to all that host and participate, without you, there would be no RPG Blog Carnival.
