  1. If you’re going to use a computer, why not use have the System Reference Document act as a searchable Player’s Handbook? You don’t have to worry about editing it at all and it’s really fast. If you don’t have an internet connection while playing, you can even download the SRD for even faster searching. You also get access to feats, skills, classes and the like. It also has a helpful DM screen with any information that’s needed.

  2. I agree with you Aeolien and in fact I do keep a copy of the SRD open on my laptop while playing. The issue comes into play when you don’t have something that’s covered by the SRD – such as some of the spells my character uses from the PHB II. Since I wanted those at hand as well I combined everything into one Evernote category.
