Hail and well met!
As you’ve most likely noticed from the by-line on the site I’m Scot Newbury and I’ve been playing various role-playing games for some time.
How long you ask? I started back in the days when D&D and AD&D were two different systems and about the only two games around. I still have the original six dice that came with that first box set and they happily celebrated their silver (25th) anniversary this past year and while they don’t see much action at the table I still pull them out from time to time.
So why the blog? It’s simple really. I’ve got 25 years of gaming experience from both sides of the screen; I’ve played in good games and in bad ones, ran some memorable sessions and campaigns and others I’d really like to forget and want to pass that knowledge along to you, my fellow gamers and hopefully I’ll get better at the trade myself in process.
Please feel free to comment on any of the posts, let me know your opinion and share your experience – it’ll help everyone in the long run.
If you have a website or e-zine and want to include anything you see posted here please be sure to credit me, include a link back to the main page of the blog (https://ofdiceanddragons.com) and drop me an email to let me know about it as I’m always interested in finding new sites and ezines to read.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and have a look and I hope to see you again soon.
May your dice roll well.
